A Hack Club YSWS, part of the [Archer](https://hackclub.enterprise.slack.com/archives/C0BHZLZF8BX) program. Made by teenagers, for teenagers. Content served live from [Stern](https://stern.hackclub.com/a/cloudfall/home).

## Never run a server before?

You don't have to, using our slack channel and the docs we can teach you how to turn an old device into a server, and how to selfhost. Let's get away from paying for things we don't own

The docs are open to everyone to learn, only teens 13-18 can compete but anyone can follow along.

## Where teens make cool stuff.

Hack Club is the world's largest nonprofit movement of teenagers making cool projects. Clubs in a thousand schools, hackathons on trains and in ferry terminals, and dozens of You Ship We Ship programs like this one, all of it run by and for teenagers.

Create an open source solution to subscriptions like the gym, Netflix, Spotify and receive a server for yourself.

CloudFall challenges you to replace a subscription you pay for, like the gym, Netflix, or Spotify, with an open source solution of your own. Log your coding time with Hackatime, post devlogs as you build, then ship your project for review and spend your approved hours on prizes in the shop, including a server for yourself.

1. Join #ysws-cloudfall and sign in with your Hack Club account on Stern.
2. Link Hackatime so your coding hours count themselves, and post devlogs as you build.
3. Ship your project for review with a repo, demo, and a couple of screenshots.
4. Spend your approved hours on prizes in the shop.
